Hackers can use your compromised pc to attack a website or other computers without your knowledge all while leaving your IP address as a calling card.

Driver Updates - Most hardware manufacturers release updates as they are developed. Some driver updates are released to resolve conflicts, increase performance, or to fix some other problem. Installing the latest drivers insures that you have the best software driving your hardware.
